About the Customer Engineer, Cloud AI, Media and Entertainment Role
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Applicants in the County of Los Angeles will have their applications considered in line with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
Candidates can express their preferred working location from options including New York, NY, USA and Los Angeles, CA, USA.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years experience with cloud native architecture and customer-facing support roles.
- Experience with AI agent orchestration frameworks, agentic design patterns, and integrating models through advanced API prompting.
- Experience with machine learning model development and deployment.
- Experience using programming languages to design demos, prototypes, or workshops for customers.
- Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in building machine learning solutions and specific architectures (LLMs, Diffusion, Multimodal Models).
- Experience architecting scalable, distributed systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, methodologies, and cloud/IT solutions.
- Experience developing and deploying Generative AI applications with RAG pipelines and vector databases.
- Familiarity with Media and Entertainment AI use cases and workflows.

As a Practice Customer Engineer, you will work with sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud, lead technical wins, and rapidly adopt complex, specialized workloads. You will write code, develop prototypes, and create demos for customer engagements, contributing feedback to product teams.
You will also work alongside product and engineering management, ensuring customer challenges are met with tailored and practical solutions that drive customer success.

- Provide deep technical consultation and build lasting customer relationships.
