About the Role: Content and AI Compliance Specialist at Google
In this critical role, you will lead and enhance Google's compliance program, collaborating across the organization to build and manage robust compliance initiatives. You will be responsible for tracking, reporting on, and managing compliance efforts from start to finish, including defining objectives, establishing key metrics, monitoring progress, and ensuring accurate reporting to stakeholders.
This full-time position offers a base salary range of $107,000-$153,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
- Experience with enterprise-wide or cross-functional project planning and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Law, Business, Compliance, or a related field.
- Experience bringing structure to ambiguous situations, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze fragmented information, identify key attributes, and develop recommendations and solutions.
- Understanding of compliance program management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, management, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify potential risks and develop proactive solutions to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate potential issues.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a compliance and risk management program specifically tailored to Google's unique needs and regulatory landscape.
- Develop and utilize a comprehensive set of metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure and track the program's success and pinpoint areas for continuous improvement.
- Strategically partner with diverse cross-functional teams throughout the organization to seamlessly integrate compliance and risk management principles directly into core business processes, thereby ensuring proactive risk mitigation.
- Regularly prepare and deliver insightful reports to senior management, offering clear perspectives on the program's overall status, identification of emerging risks, detailed compliance performance, and actionable recommended next steps.
