Overview

Google is seeking a Cloud Developer, Platform & Infrastructure to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will leverage expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure to solve complex technical challenges and support customer projects from conception to completion.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, continuous integration, or delivery.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects.
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) techniques such as prompt development, dual encoders, and embedding vectors.
• Experience running AI/ML training or inference workloads on GPU or TPU.
• Experience building prototypes or applications.
• Familiarity with IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and certificate/key management.
• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

About the Job

The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through their cloud journey. You will help design and implement cloud-based technical architectures, provide technical advice, resolve issues, and create best practice recommendations while occasionally traveling (up to 30%).

Compensation

For US applicants, the base salary range for this full-time role is $123,000-$176,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Additional factors such as location, skills, and experience will influence individual offers.
