Overview
The Associate Technical Account Manager - Google Cloud helps customers adopt Google Cloud products and guides them through their technical transformation. This role includes managing cloud consulting engagements, engaging with multiple stakeholder groups, and facilitating smooth migration and implementation journeys.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of customer-facing experience with technical implementations or transformation programs.
- Experience supporting cloud operations such as launch planning, capacity planning, product release management, technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technological solutions.
- Experience with application or workload migration to public cloud providers.
- Proven collaboration with teams, partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers.
- Solid understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, and cloud-native application development.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills along with strong client management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading implementation journeys.
- Provide technical guidance, manage timelines, milestones and migration goals.
- Advocate for customer needs to overcome blockers and drive feature development.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple work streams to ensure customer success.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders, create roadmaps, and lead executive sessions.
- Plan customer events and coordinate with support and engineering teams to resolve escalations.
- Develop and refine best practices from customer engagements to scale solutions.
