Job Description

Associate Product Marketing Manager at Google

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) at Google, you will be an integral part of Google's global APMM Program, designed for early career Marketers. This program offers a unique opportunity to work on priority marketing projects, develop a wide range of marketing skills, and join a vibrant community of peers and alumni. You will receive dedicated mentorship and support from executive leaders, while also completing learning and development milestones and actively contributing to the APMM community.

You will be assigned projects within the marketing organization that support key business goals. You'll make direct contributions under the scope of larger projects, working with general guidance. This could involve bringing user insights into the product development process or crafting go-to-market (GTM) plans to drive awareness and adoption for new products and features among target segments. Your work will span growth marketing, optimization, contributing to Google’s brand strategy, generating user insights, and managing campaigns and programming. Marketing at Google is all about connecting technology with the user in innovative ways, demonstrating how Google's products solve real-world problems, from the everyday to the monumental.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and executing go-to-market strategies and campaigns for new product or feature launches, meticulously measuring their efficacy against key KPIs.
  • Assist in developing programs aimed at acquiring customers, which includes crafting business strategies, messaging, collateral, and events, and measuring the efficacy of these programs.
  • Support the team in evaluating product and feature improvements to better meet user needs, ensuring product readiness for launch, and effectively communicating new developments to users.
  • Assist in developing client and executive narratives and presentations, compelling case studies, and content designed to accelerate business momentum and better engage Google's customers and agency partners.
  • Assist in executing marketing-related tasks within the scope of a larger product or project, working under the guidance of a manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, agency, AI, technology, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Google's products, technology, and leadership in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) space.
  • Ability to have a global mindset and to think across disciplines, industries, cultures, and scenarios.
  • Ability to develop and understand strategy, and to work with ambiguity and agility.
  • Excellent program management and communication skills.
