About the Role
The Associate Principal Analyst, Generative AI, Trust and Safety at Google is a subject matter expert responsible for architecting approaches to complex AI risks. In this role, you will lead analyses and investigations, influence long-term strategies, and work to ensure that AI systems are safe and secure.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; 7 years in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with policy challenges in AI systems, SQL, dashboard building, data collection and transformation, visualization, programming (Python), statistical analysis, and addressing novel AI risks and adversarial threats.
Responsibilities
- Lead analyses and investigations to implement safety mitigations.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Policy, and Legal teams to set robust safety principles.
- Inform engineering and research with insights from fine-tuning and classifier techniques.
- Analyze evolving AI threat landscape and forecast future misuse vectors.
- Serve as the go-to expert for sensitive content and trust-related issues.
