About the Associate Manager, Product Strategy and Operations Role at Google
As an Associate Manager, Product Strategy and Operations at Google, you will play a pivotal role in bringing together diverse teams across Google’s functions to optimize product execution. Our team is crucial for scaling Google's products and infrastructure efficiently, applying strong business acumen, sound judgment, and effective cross-organizational collaboration.
This role encompasses strategy, operations, and communications. You will analyze industry trends, develop business plans, manage organizational cadences, and facilitate communication channels between functions. Partnering with senior leadership, you will oversee critical functions that span existing organizations and deliver high-impact projects. Your work will directly support Engineers, Product Managers, and UX teams in building and delivering exceptional products to users.
You will serve as a thought partner and subject matter expert within the Trust team, focusing on collaboration, principled decision-making, and purpose. This team works closely with Engineering and Product Management across key product areas like Search, Assistant, Maps, Commerce, and Ads, ensuring the delivery of trusted user experiences. This is a critical journey, and we seek dedicated individuals to join us.
Responsibilities
- Execute Google's Knowledge and Information (K&I) Trust scaled advocacy strategy, including developing externalizable assets for K&I products in areas such as information literacy, sensitive content, vulnerable user journeys, and privacy.
- Ensure high-quality execution and delivery of key elements of K&I Trust Go-to-Market Plans, aimed at enhancing K&I’s responsibility narrative and improving trust sentiment.
- Support the delivery of scaled advocacy, encompassing cohesive, evidence-based measurement of impact, along with institutionalized feedback tracking and analysis.
- Amplify Communications/PR/Marketing efforts through complementary stakeholder engagement activities.
- Coordinate and support side-events, roundtables, and pre-briefings to maintain sustained stakeholder engagement for Product teams.
- Develop assets, talking points, and materials focused on responsibility and trust within K&I products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics within a technology company.
- Experience working with and analyzing data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advocacy campaigns.
- Experience at a technology company or in related areas such as: regulatory and compliance strategy, analytics roles, product-related roles, management consulting, or strategy and operations.
