About the Application Engineer, Salesforce Role at Google
This Application Engineer, Salesforce position at Google involves leading all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.
In this role, you will act as an expert in Salesforce, general software development and work on multiple features and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities that help assist Google Cloud business teams. You will have the opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary projects that shape the growth of Google Cloud. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, business users and business strategists to manage these tests. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working with Salesforce.
- Experience with coding in Apex.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with the Salesforce product suite and Representational State Transfer/Simple Object Access Protocol (REST/SOAP) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Experience with lightning web components.
- Experience with web technologies like JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript or JSON.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, test and deliver applications and systems in Salesforce.
- Design and implement solutions to automate development tasks, releases, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform.
- Build internal solutions, with custom front-end (e.g., web, mobile) and back-end services that automate business processes.
- Integrate third-party products into internal systems as well as support and upgrade implemented systems.
- Work in an agile development environment making incremental progress.
