AI Sales Specialist
As an AI Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you will be instrumental in expanding our Artificial Intelligence business by cultivating relationships with both new and existing customers. Your role involves delivering tangible business value, showcasing product functionalities, and providing comprehensive overviews of crucial business use cases.
Business cycles will encompass productivity-focused use cases and collaborative efforts with product teams to enable our customers to innovate new products utilizing our advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions. You will manage day-to-day interactions with cross-functional team members and external customers, prioritizing empathy, and identifying innovative approaches to amplify your and the team's overall impact, thereby driving significant value for Google Cloud.

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Preferred working locations include San Francisco, CA, USA; New York, NY, USA; Los Angeles, CA, USA.
Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor; manage business cycles, identify solution use cases, and influence account direction.
- Achieve or exceed sales quota and growth goals while accurately forecasting and reporting your territory’s business performance.
- Collaborate with Google account teams and various cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop effective go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline and business growth, close agreements, deeply understand customer needs, and ensure an excellent prospect and customer experience.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans within an assigned territory or market, informed by Google’s responsible Artificial Intelligence framework.
- Manage multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint, strategy, growth plans, business drivers, key performers, and how Google technologies can transform their operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a sales role within enterprise software, cloud, or AI.
- Experience identifying AI use cases to solve customer issues or selling AI technology to clients.
- Experience in, or supporting the Generative Media space.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting long-term executive relationships and developing new territories/accounts, while ensuring customer success, adoption, and expansion.
- Experience working cross-functionally (including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal) to inventory existing software estates, build business cases for transformation with implementation plans, and close agreements.
- Experience carrying and exceeding business goals in a sales role.
- Experience prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based business activity within business cycles, including qualifying accounts and leveraging our partner ecosystem.
- Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions (including foundational technical understanding) of Cloud and AI.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
