About the AI Customer Engineer Role at Google

As an AI Customer Engineer, you'll be part of an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing team, crucial in understanding customer needs and shaping how businesses of all sizes leverage technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English to support client relationships in the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the small and medium business segment.
- Experience prospecting, building, and maintaining new customer relationships, with a passion for building out Greenfield territories.
- Knowledge of systems management concepts (e.g., image management, patching, automated deployment, etc.).
- Knowledge of security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and penetration testing.
Responsibilities
- Build partner-specific, go-to-market (GTM) solutions to reduce business cycles and drive partner business as measured through pipeline and business growth.
- Own the technical relationship with partners, empowering them to drive successful pilots or proofs of concept, supporting them towards customer acceptance of technical proposals, leading to agreements, and assisting during migration for successful deployment.
- Build trusted advisory relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution, and provide best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
