About the Role

As an Advertising Solutions Architect, gTech Ads at Google, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of customers by leading in-market product commercialization, market analysis, and customer product needs assessments. You will also manage day-to-day technical escalations, acting as a crucial link between complex technical concepts and diverse audiences. This position requires active interaction with product management teams and a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and improving products and operations alongside cross-functional teams. Familiarity with online advertising and industry experience are essential to excel in this dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in building proof of concepts using web/scripting technologies (ex: JS, Python and SQL).
  • Experience with the advertising industry and technologies, especially in ad tech measurement, tagging analytics, and attribution.
  • Ability to absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, involving active work with other Google groups (Sales teams, Solution Engineers, and more).

Responsibilities

  • Engage with external clients and internal sales stakeholders to identify customer business objectives and marketing objectives through a consultative approach.
  • Lead client meetings to explore opportunities for Technical and Media engagements that help the customers achieve their business objectives.
  • Develop deep expertise in Google Advertising Products, Customer Infrastructure, and current gTech Ads solutions offerings to consult on or architect technical and media solutions.
  • Lead complex multi-quarter projects by collaborating closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to drive customer wins and Google Ads revenue outcomes.
  • Lead planning and quarterly business reviews for LCS pod(s) to plan and govern progress on gTech Ads service delivery and business enablement.
