About the Account Manager Associate, Large Customer Sales Role at Google

This role is designed for individuals passionate about sales, online media, and maximizing customer success within Google's dynamic advertising environment. As an Account Manager Associate, you will join the Google Americas Sales Associate Program, a structured program focused on developing sales talent through product and business training, as well as executive exposure. You will rotate across various Google advertising Sales teams, serving as a media account manager for short-term assignments to cover team member leaves. Upon successful completion of the program, you will transition into permanent Account Manager roles or other strategic positions at Google.

You will be an integral part of Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams, partnering with the world's leading brands and agencies. Your focus will be on challenging conventional business thinking, leveraging Google's comprehensive advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more, to drive significant business performance. This is an opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, influence market-shaping strategies, and deliver tangible results for major global businesses while contributing to Google's growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in sales, digital marketing, or digital advertising through full-time roles, internships, or relevant coursework.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English for customer-facing sales interactions.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and training, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Google Ads, managing advertising, and media campaigns.
  • Ability to work towards strategic goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent client service, relationship building, organizational, investigative, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the account management of clients on the sales team.
  • Craft and deliver solutions to customers to achieve their business objectives and drive business growth for Google, with some guidance.
  • Partner with customers and help drive customer relationships in order to work towards mutual business objectives.
  • Contribute to building, growing, and maintaining customer portfolios to drive high-impact, long-lasting relationships.
  • Provide campaign updates, troubleshoot client challenges, and deliver customer training in all Google tools.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time as needed to work with clients or teams.
