The Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Mid Market Sales team is a critical growth engine for customers in GCS. This team is dedicated to understanding the business goals of this premier segment and providing Google advertising solutions to drive customer success. The team is responsible for growing advertising business growth by building trust, educating, promoting solutions, and consulting with clients directly.
Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in direct or agency client advertising sales, marketing, consulting, media.
- Experience working with clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing and building a pipeline to support long-term growth of business.
- Experience with sales leadership and performance promoting.
- Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
- Knowledge of products across all digital advertising products areas.
- Ability to leverage business acumen to strategically assess and help solve client needs.
- Ability to use data to report out on business drivers, present to management, and build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling to influence.
Responsibilities
- Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
- Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunity for growth, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement.
- Prioritize and deliver a positive customer sales experience to Google's advertisers.
- Coach peers proactively in the organization to create skill lift that drives client growth and contributes to overall team success.
- Generate business plans to define strategies and tactics. Build an understanding of client’s business model, define business goals, create key strategies, and exceed success metrics.
