Overview
As a Technical Program Manager III at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, manage the New Technology Introduction process, and drive manufacturing initiatives for hardware products. You will work with stakeholders, plan requirements, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing initiatives for hardware products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with thermal evacuation assembly technologies (liquid cooling, vapor chambers, heat pipes, etc.).
- Experience driving manufacturing technology development during NPI for data centers.
- Experience with PCB/PCBA manufacturing technologies.
About the Job
As a Technical Program Manager, you ensure the successful transition of Google’s hardware products to mass production through a well-defined NTI process. You will maintain critical technology roadmaps, track current technology trends, and collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the NTI Process ensuring enabling manufacturing, test, and key technology execution.
- Refine and document NTI process flows, policies, roles, and responsibilities.
- Deliver and maintain key technologies for advanced product designs.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to push technology boundaries.
- Lead Test Vehicle builds to validate DOEs for manufacturing/test process development.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is based on role, level, location and additional factors.
