Customer Quality Engineer

Reporting to the QA Manager in Ballabgarh, this role focuses on ensuring the highest quality standards for tires and tubes through robust pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) processes and effective defect management.

Tire Quality & Tube Quality Responsibilities

  • Implement and improve strong PDI checks for tires.
  • Reduce OE rejections in line with AOP.
  • Handle customer issues related to tire and tube concerns.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and submit CAPA for OE complaints.
  • Manage tube-related concerns with vendors and support tube size expansion.
  • Monitor tube inspection data and follow up for CAPA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-dispatch inspection oversight: Supervise the PDI team, verify inspection checklists, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Quality control and defect management: Identify defects, coordinate with production and SCM, and confirm corrective actions before dispatch.
  • Team leadership and management: Assign tasks, train team members on inspection procedures, and manage performance.
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records, generate detailed trend reports, and collaborate with technical teams on quality issues.
