Human Resources Specialist

Overview

The Human Resources Specialist at GoodSpace AI is responsible for managing key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding, and policy implementation. This role is critical in building a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist in designing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Support performance management, appraisal cycles, and employee development programs.
• Handle employee queries and grievance redressal with confidentiality.
• Plan and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads for workforce planning and hiring needs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years experience as an HR Specialist, HR Executive, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and HR operations.
• Familiarity with HRMS/ATS tools like Zoho People, Darwinbox, Keka or similar.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of labor laws, compliance, and payroll processes.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Good to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.
• Exposure to data-driven HR analytics and reporting.
• Certification in HR such as SHRM or HRCI.
• Knowledge of employee engagement and learning & development initiatives.
