Overview
The Human Resources Specialist at GoodSpace AI is responsible for managing key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding, and policy implementation. This role is critical in building a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance and supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in designing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance management, appraisal cycles, and employee development programs.
- Handle employee queries and grievance redressal with confidentiality.
- Plan and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads for workforce planning and hiring needs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years experience as an HR Specialist, HR Executive, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and HR operations.
- Familiarity with HRMS/ATS tools like Zoho People, Darwinbox, Keka or similar.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of labor laws, compliance, and payroll processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Good to Have
- Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Exposure to data-driven HR analytics and reporting.
- Certification in HR such as SHRM or HRCI.
- Knowledge of employee engagement and learning & development initiatives.
