About the Role
GoodRx is seeking a Manager, Data Science to lead a growing team of data scientists. This role blends hands-on modeling expertise and innovative strategic leadership to deliver impactful data science solutions that improve healthcare affordability and access.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and coach data scientists, manage performance and professional growth.
- Business Impact & Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Technical Contribution: Build predictive models, develop ML/AI systems, and ensure scalable deployment of solutions.
- Thought Leadership & Innovation: Drive research initiatives and contribute to the broader data science community.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years in data science with significant business impact
- 2+ years in managing or mentoring data scientists
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and experimentation
- Hands-on experience with Python and cloud-based big data ecosystems
- Proven record of deploying end-to-end models at scale
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Bonus Points
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
- Experience in healthcare or high-impact domains
- Exposure to GenAI product strategy or large-scale ML infrastructure
