Responsibilities
The Enterprise Security Engineer II will:
- Perform risk analysis across enterprise and production environments.
- Provide support for security systems and tool implementation.
- Monitor, analyze, and triage alerts from various platforms (Falcon, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Snort, Proofpoint, Google Workspace, MS365, GCP, AWS).
- Stay current on emerging threats and vulnerabilities to improve detection and response.
- Investigate potential threats and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Manage ZeroTrust Firewall Policies, Always on VPN, and related integrations.
- Create security detections, dashboards, and reports using tools like Sumo Logic, Splunk, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, IT, Infrastructure, Compliance) to implement security controls.
- Support onboarding of new security tools and maintain security procedures.
- Plan and deliver regular security training and conduct investigations of security incidents.
- Evaluate third-party vendor control environments and drive continuous improvement through automation.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Candidates should have minimum 2 years experience in Security Operations or Incident Response. Essential skills include expertise in cloud and on-prem environments, risk assessment, and scripting capabilities. Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, common attack vectors, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK is required. Experience with EDR platforms, firewalls (PaloAlto, Fortinet), SIEM platforms, and SOC operations is highly desired. Additional advantages include experience with SSO, AWS, GCP, container security, CI/CD security, and relevant security certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
