Overview

Goodfellow Bros is seeking an experienced Driller Operator to join the team at Hawaii Drilling & Pump Service in Kapolei, HI. The role involves operating as the working foreman, managing the drilling, and construction of test holes, water wells, or monitoring wells.

What You Will Work On

As a Driller Operator, you will:

  • Prepare sites and mobilize equipment
  • Drill and ream boreholes
  • Log geophysical data and construct wells
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Supervise and train helpers
  • Maintain detailed technical and daily work reports
  • Ensure compliance with HDPS Drilling's Safety Program

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all work meets the highest quality and industry standards. You will operate the drill rig and support equipment, maintain and repair equipment, and manage site operations in the absence of higher management.

Experience and Requirements

Candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant drilling experience, particularly with deep-well submersible pumps or vertical turbine pumps. Legal eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Benefits & Compensation

This full-time, hourly non-exempt position offers a competitive pay rate of $50-60 per hour along with medical, dental, and vision coverage and limited paid sick leave for eligible employees.
