Job Description

About This Opportunity

We're a creative digital design and development shop working with clients across industries — from nonprofits and B-corps to financial services and B2B companies. We move fast, care deeply about craft, and build things that actually work for the people using them. We're looking for an experienced Digital Project and Account Manager with technical know-how who can be the conduit between our clients and our team.

About the Role

The Digital Project and Account Manager owns the full project lifecycle — from kickoff to launch and beyond. That means keeping complex initiatives on track, translating client goals into clear briefs for designers and developers, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. This role is the primary point of contact for clients: managing expectations, communicating progress, and building the kind of trust that turns projects into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Task Creation
  • Write clear, detailed tasks that translate client requests and bug reports into actionable developer briefs
  • Coordinate schedules, content freezes, QA windows, and launch dates across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Track progress, follow up on blockers, and keep clients informed without being prompted
  • Manage recurring deliverables such as monthly plugin updates, CMS security patches, and analytics reports

Client Communication & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 6 - 8 ongoing client accounts
  • Run kick-off meetings, weekly check-ins, and project retrospectives
  • Translate ambiguous client feedback into concrete requirements with screenshots, annotated references, and Figma links
  • Proactively surface opportunities and bring recommendations to clients before they ask
  • Maintain warm, professional relationships with stakeholders across marketing, operations, and technical teams

Quality Assurance & Site Reviews
  • Conduct detailed QA reviews of staging environments prior to launch, testing across browsers and devices using manual and automated testing methods
  • Run and review accessibility audits, broken link reports, and alt text audits
  • Review analytics and report on trends, anomalies, and performance
  • Coordinate and document content updates, product launches, and redesigns rollouts

Technical Coordination
  • Understand and document web development workflows including Git branching, staging/production environments, and CMS content management
  • Coordinate with developers on Custom React, Craft CMS, WordPress, and Shopify projects
  • Manage third-party integrations including HubSpot, Salesforce, OneTrust, Ghost Inspector, and GA4
  • Facilitate data imports and content migrations across clients, internal developers, and external vendors
  • Have a good understanding of basic development practices and be able to troubleshoot issues and recommend potential fixes

Process & Documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date files, task templates, and process documentation
  • Create and manage content and data spreadsheets and imports
  • Document meeting notes, decisions, and next steps for every client meeting
  • Develop and iterate on repeatable workflows for recurring deliverables
  • Leverage and adapt AI tools and workflows into the project management platform

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Available to work and meet Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm PT
  • 6+ years in a digital agency or in-house web team in a project management or account management role
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication — tasks, emails, and Slack messages are clear, friendly, and actionable
  • Comfortable with current web standards throughout a project’s lifecycle including ADA, CMP, SEO…etc.
  • Experience with Asana, Jira, and G Suite
  • Familiarity with GA4 and Looker Studio
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to QA a page thoroughly across layout, copy, and UX
  • Curious, self-directed and proactive — acting on what needs to happen next without being asked
  • Calm and professional under pressure — someone who genuinely enjoys client relationships

Nice to Have / Bonus Points

  • Experience with Craft CMS, WordPress, Shopify
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, OneTrust, or similar tools
  • Experience coordinating accessibility remediation
  • Interest and/or experience with different business verticals
  • Comfort working with design teams in Figma
  • A development background
