The Security Lending Strategist Team

Our global team of strategists plays a pivotal role in driving significant business decisions within securities lending and financing. This is achieved through comprehensive analysis of extensive datasets and the development of sophisticated quantitative models. Key areas of focus include inventory modeling and management, strategies for borrowing and returning securities, locate services, pricing and revenue optimization, risk hedging and optimization, and capital and funding attribution and optimization.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For

  • Strong academic background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, or statistics.
  • Strong programming skills in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Strong modeling skillsets with a solid understanding of optimization theory (e.g., linear programming, numerical methods, MCMC).
  • Interest in data engineering and relevant infrastructure buildout, including data pipeline and database design.
  • Ability and willingness to acquire new business or technical knowledge.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrate initiative, and deliver results efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to drive outcomes within multi-constrained and ambiguous business contexts.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and effectively explain the underlying concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Knowledge of financial markets is preferred.
  • Understanding of securities lending and one-delta products is a plus.
