Overview
The Operational Risk Associate at Goldman Sachs will assess and manage operational risk across the firm. You will contribute to effective risk management by providing commercial and strategic risk insights, adjusting business practices to reduce inherent risk, and enhancing controls.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen the operational risk framework.
- Advance and execute operational risk programs and practices.
- Develop governance processes and enhance controls.
- Work with Engineering teams on risk management platforms.
- Provide clear verbal and written risk management recommendations.
- Monitor business drivers, regulations, and emerging risks.
- Support regulatory deliverables and overall engagement.
Skills & Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in operational risk management or risk control assessments.
- Technical knowledge in product management and quantitative aptitude.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Alteryx.
- Organizational and project/change management skills.
