Internal Audit Overview
Internal Audit independently assesses the firm’s control structure, raises awareness of risks, advises management, and monitors implemented control measures. It aids the Board of Directors Audit Committee and works closely with external auditors. The team is diverse, including chartered accountants, developers, risk management and cybersecurity professionals, and data scientists.
Role Purpose & Scope
As an Internal Audit Technology Risk & Cybersecurity Analyst, you will support technology audit projects covering areas such as cloud and on-premises IT infrastructure security, resilience, and control practices. Reporting to an experienced project manager, your responsibilities include:
- Assisting in risk assessment, scoping and planning of reviews.
- Executing tests to validate IT controls including security, availability, and performance.
- Documenting work and preparing audit reports.
- Presenting review progress and results to technology and business stakeholders.

- Solid analytical skills with an aptitude for new technologies.
Specific Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Understanding of internal control concepts and technology risks.
- Experience with cybersecurity processes, cloud computing, and infrastructure platforms.
- Familiarity with AI, system development, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing is a plus.
- Ability to articulate risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
