Job Summary And Responsibilities
This position is for a junior analyst joining the Latin America Economics team in New York. Under the guidance of the chief LatAm economist and macro team, you will:
- Analyze and interpret high-frequency economic data releases.
- Develop and maintain databases, forecasting models, and proprietary economic indicators.
- Build quantitative tools to forecast economic growth, inflation, and interest rates.
- Produce unique thematic research and contribute to team publications.
- Collaborate with economists, strategists, sales, trading, and investment banking teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in macroeconomic or market research. Key requirements include strong verbal and written communication skills, preferred Spanish/Portuguese proficiency, and robust quantitative abilities in statistics and econometrics. Intellectual curiosity and passion for macroeconomics and markets are essential.

Salary & Benefits
