Overview

The Global Banking & Markets Capital Solutions Group Associate, LatAm Asset Finance role at Goldman Sachs leverages financing, origination, structuring, distribution, and risk management across various asset classes to provide tailored solutions for both issuing and investing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Engage actively with clients and originate new opportunities.
  • Execute live deals and manage client relationships, including travel to Latin America.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Capital Solutions Group, Sales & Trading, and Investment Banking.
  • Analyze both quantitative and qualitative risk factors and credit quality.
  • Draft detailed investment committee memos and perform comprehensive deal assessments.

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant technical and quantitative experience. Fluency in English and Spanish, strong analytical and financial modeling skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and excellent communication skills are required.

Differentiating Qualities

Experience with structured finance, Latin American markets, and credit risk analysis of asset portfolios is highly valued.

Benefits & Compensation

The position, based in New York (or alternatively Dallas), offers a base salary ranging from $150,000 to $225,000, plus potential discretionary bonuses and competitive benefits and wellness offerings.
