Job Overview
The Global Banking & Markets Associate Data Analytics role at Goldman Sachs is based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will support the data analytics function for Client Management and Strategy within Global Banking and Markets by creating and maintaining analytical tools and dashboards that provide daily metrics to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain multiple data analytical tools and dashboards
- Merge complex data sets across market share, volume, revenues, and client ranks
- Query and automate data from multiple sources to generate stakeholder reports
- Provide technical data management across the global sales strategy team
- Drive prioritization to outperform top client targets
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with additional years of experience) in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field. Essential skills include processing and cleaning large data sets using Alteryx or RapidMiner, ETL processes, creating interactive visualizations with Tableau, Power BI or Qlikview, SQL expertise along with familiarity with No-SQL databases, as well as experience with data warehousing tools like Snowflake or MS SQL Server, and programming in Python or R. A strong understanding of financial products and the global markets industry is also required.
