Role Description
As a Wealth Onboarding Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the client's experience by developing innovative and scalable software solutions. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Your work will focus on automating complex onboarding workflows, integrating with various internal and external systems, ensuring data integrity and security, and enhancing the overall efficiency and user experience for both clients and internal teams. You will collaborate closely with product managers, operations specialists, and other engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Candidates will work directly with a variety of stakeholders, including the product organization/team, UX and visual design team, and various engineering teams across the division to build and enhance a state-of-the-art, industry-leading, and best-in-class platform, providing clients with the best way to onboard and bank with Goldman Sachs.
Skills And Experience We Are Looking For
- Full Stack Proficiency: 4+ years of hands-on experience building end-to-end web applications. Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend environments (e.g., Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, or Python).
- UI/UX Excellence: Deep understanding of responsive design, CSS-in-JS, and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or MobX) to create seamless user experiences.
- API Design: Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL to ensure efficient data flow between the frontend and backend.
- Modern DevOps: Experience with version control (Git) and deploying software across the full Continuous Delivery lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem Solving: The ability to effectively debug complex distributed systems and optimize frontend performance for high-traffic applications.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills to translate visual designs and product requirements into functional, high-quality code.
