About the Role

The Audit Analyst role at Goldman Sachs involves internally auditing critical areas of the firm to minimize risks from regulators and external auditors. You will work with Finance and Technology divisions ensuring safe and functional firm operations across diverse business areas.

Divisions and Functions

You may be considered for roles in:

  • Internal Audit – Assessing internal control and advising management on risk controls.
  • Global Banking & Markets – Audits on Sales & Trading, Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities, and Investment Banking.
  • Asset & Wealth Management – Audits related to financial investments and private asset management.
  • Platform Solutions – Audits for consumer banking.
  • Compliance & Legal – Audits focused on compliance and financial crime controls.
  • Controllers & Tax – Audits on regulatory reporting and tax processes.
  • Enterprise Audit – Audits across Human Capital Management, Corporate Planning and more.
  • Risk & Capital Planning Audit – Audits related to liquidity, credit, and model risk.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various industries.
