About the Role: Associate Digital Product Manager

We are seeking an Associate Digital Product Manager to join Goldman Sachs' Transaction Banking division. This role focuses on developing innovative self-serve web capabilities for our corporate clients, specifically in liquidity, account management, and information reporting. You will be instrumental in enhancing user experiences by optimizing digital features, allowing clients to seamlessly manage their transaction banking needs.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, operations, and client-facing teams to deliver efficient, secure, and scalable digital solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define product requirements for self-serve web features, driven by client feedback and corporate needs.
  • Document clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide Design and Engineering resources.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a detailed product roadmap aligned with broader business goals.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature prioritization to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the UX design team to ensure digital solutions meet high usability and accessibility standards for corporate clients.
  • Present complex ideas and processes in easy-to-consume presentations to gain stakeholder alignment and drive initiatives.
  • Analyze user behavior, feedback, and data for continuous refinement and enhancement of product features.
  • Work with sales, relationship managers, and support teams to gather insights on client needs and pain points.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product features that meet quality standards.
  • Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks.
  • Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners across business, various product, legal, compliance, and enterprise technology organizations.

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience, or 5 years (preferred), as a digital product manager, business analyst, or directly related experience.
  • Preferred at least 2 years of experience working with transaction banking products.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of Agile product development methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and their application to digital product design.
  • Proficiency in using product management tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence.
  • Ability to understand complex data models and perform data analysis.

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented nature with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective with diverse teams.
  • Proven track record in balancing corporate customer outcomes, business needs, technical feasibility, and delivery.
