Goldman Sachs Family Office (GSFO) is in search of a Trust Strategist to work closely with Private Wealth Advisors in delivering Family Office Solutions to clients and assist with business development initiatives. The role is ideal for a hard-working, client-friendly individual with a background in wealth management and/or family office services.
Our Impact
Wealth Management: Empowering clients globally through financial planning, investment management, banking, and comprehensive advice for a range of clients including ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, foundations, and corporations.
Private Wealth Management (PWM): Specializing in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals, families, and select institutions with tailored services including tax, estate and philanthropic planning as well as private banking.
GSFO works in coordination with PWM to develop strong client relationships and deliver a full suite of wealth planning and family office services.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
- Serve as a subject matter expert in multi-generational wealth, trust, estate, and tax planning.
- Interpret trust documents and collaborate with internal and external legal counsel.
- Manage services provided by preferred third party trust company service providers.
- Act as a regional fiduciary business development officer liaising with Private Wealth Advisors.
- Monitor and assess client trust situations to recommend additional services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required along with a JD and/or MBA.
- Extensive experience in multi-generational wealth and estate planning strategies.
- Prior trust company experience in legal, business development, administration, or operations preferred.
- Experience working with Trustees, Attorneys, and Accountants on private client wealth planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills, an analytical mindset, and leadership experience.

Salary & Benefits
This position is based in San Francisco, California with an expected base salary ranging from $85,000 to $270,000. Additional discretionary bonus may be applicable.
