The Private Wealth Management (PWM) segment focuses on high net worth individuals and institutions, providing customized wealth management strategies that include tax, estate, philanthropic planning, and banking services.
Role Description
This role is designed for the 2026 hire. As a Business Development Professional (BDP) working alongside Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs), you will support existing client relationships and drive new business generation. Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting PWAs with client-facing analyses and portfolio monitoring.
- Monitoring market trends and internal research to advise client portfolios.
- Driving PWM team growth through sustained outreach and meeting coordination.
- Managing Salesforce for client relationship management and strategic follow-ups.
- Coordinating internal new business strategy meetings and action items.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related financial services experience. Key skills include a strong interest in financial markets, excellent communication, project management, and the ability to work fast-paced environments. Certifications such as SIE, Series 3, 7, and 63 are required, with CFA Charter and/or CFP highly encouraged.
Salary & Benefits
The base salary range for this position in New York, NY is $85,000 to $160,000 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus. Goldman Sachs offers competitive benefits and wellness offerings tailored for both full-time and part-time US employees.
