About the Role

As an Analyst in the Asset & Wealth Management division at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role in expanding product offerings by managing fund launches and other fund change events for US-domiciled funds. You will collaborate closely with various teams including Portfolio Management, Product Development, Operations, external vendors, and Federation teams to define product design, fund features, and support models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage and execute fund change events such as fund launches, terminations, and restructures for US-based funds.
  • Set expectations for launch timelines and coordinate all internal and external working group stakeholders.
  • Manage the fund event workflow using in-house tools.
  • Address ad hoc challenges to meet design, portfolio manager, and client needs.
  • Facilitate internal and external system setups.
  • Draft and agree on investment trade flows, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Obtain necessary internal and external fund and share class identifiers.
  • Ensure smooth operation and effective risk management of new and restructured funds post-launch, including commercial viability, accurate data maintenance, and timely data flow.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects, including technology initiatives, workflow scalability, control improvements, and time-to-market reduction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant industry experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, with exposure to facilitating fund events.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and exhibit leadership capabilities.
  • Capacity to make informed autonomous decisions and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational, business writing, communication, and time management skills.
  • A desire for continuous learning and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • ETF experience is preferred but not required.
