About the Sustainable Investing Group (SIG)

Role Overview

This role within the Horizon Inclusive Growth Fund focuses on mid-market private equity investments that address accessibility and affordability in Healthcare, Education & Workforce Development, and Financial Inclusion. You will work on sourcing, evaluating, and structuring investments, taking responsibility across full deal lifecycles and engaging in high-profile transactions.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead due diligence and analysis of potential investments.
• Lead detailed financial modeling to support investment decisions.
• Develop investment and impact theses for new markets.
• Draft investment memoranda and present findings to the Investment Committee.
• Support portfolio management and operational uplifts at portfolio companies.

Qualifications

Candidates must have strong analytical and financial modeling skills, a passion for impact investing in sectors such as healthcare, education, and financial inclusion, and excellent communication abilities. A flexible, creative, entrepreneurial mindset coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects and build stakeholder relationships is required. A minimum of 2 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity investing is essential.

Benefits & Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $225,000 with the potential for a discretionary bonus. Goldman Sachs provides competitive benefits and wellness offerings as part of a strong overall employee experience.
