As an Applied AI Engineer in Global Banking & Markets, you will integrate artificial intelligence with quantitative finance to drive commercial outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy scalable AI models and workflows.
- Lead experimentation and data-driven analysis for AI effectiveness.
- Collaborate with equity business stakeholders on AI solutions.
- Develop, test and maintain production-ready software.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. A minimum of 1-3 years of AI/ML experience and proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java is required. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data science toolkits, curiosity, ownership, and collaborative spirit are essential.
Salary and Benefits
This position based in New York, NY has an expected base salary range from $150,000 to $225,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus for active employees. Goldman Sachs also offers competitive benefits and wellness programs.
