What to expect as a Category Operations Specialist:

In your role, you will take on diverse tasks in purchasing and ensure the smooth running of processes within your category. You will support our team in demand analysis, supplier collaboration, and contract management. You will work with various internal and external interfaces and contribute to the optimization of purchasing processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analysis and recording of requirements in the ERP system
• Conducting offer market research
• Internal and external coordination with suppliers on technical developments and standardizations
• Support in the implementation of quality assurance procedures, QS inspection procedures, or EH&S requirements/standards
• Support in internal and external training measures, as well as the dissemination of category-specific knowledge
• Participation in supplier reviews
• Support for framework and project contracts, as well as contract management
• Preparation of documents and data

Who We Are Looking For:

• Completed commercial or technical education
• At least three years of professional experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Ideally, experience within the renewable energy sector
• Independent, systematic, and proactive way of working
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Business fluent German and English skills
• Proficient in MS Office
