About the role
AI Adoption Lead – Google Workspace & Claude
Role Overview
This is a 6-month contract position with a high chance of renewal. The role is fully remote, open to candidates based in Latin America. Working hours are aligned with US Central Time, and an English level of B2+ or C1 is required.
We are seeking an AI Adoption Lead to spearhead our internal AI transformation. Your focus will be on integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities from Google Workspace and Anthropic's Claude into the daily workflows of our global teams, rather than building external products. You will function as an internal consultant, educator, and strategist, ensuring employees can leverage AI safely, effectively, and innovatively.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal AI Consulting: Collaborate with departments like HR, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to pinpoint workflow inefficiencies and devise AI-driven solutions using Google tools and Claude.
- Enablement Strategy: Create and oversee an internal AI roadmap, prioritizing the deployment of new tools, features, and best practices.
- Curriculum & Education: Design and conduct workshops, prompt engineering bootcamps, and certification programs for various skill levels within the company.
- Ecosystem Management: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Google Gemini (Workspace & Vertex AI) and Claude, guiding teams on optimal model selection for professional tasks.
- IT Ops Synergy (Bonus): Advise the IT Operations team on applying AI to internal infrastructure, including optimizing ticket routing, automating system monitoring, and enhancing internal tech support.
- Governance & Safety: Partner with Security and Legal to establish guidelines for internal AI usage, ensuring data privacy while fostering experimentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Over 5 years in Product Management, Technical Consulting, or Digital Transformation, with a strong emphasis on AI adoption.
- Google Suite Power User: Expert proficiency in Google Workspace, including leveraging Gemini in Docs, Sheets, and Slides for business process automation.
- Claude Specialist: In-depth knowledge of Claude's capabilities, such as its "constitutional AI" framework, long context windows, and writing tone, and their application in internal communications or data analysis.
- Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complex AI concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-technical employees.
Preferred "Bonus" Skills
- IT Ops & Automation: Experience in improving internal IT workflows via automation or AIOps.
- Change Management: Proven ability to lead large-scale software or cultural transformations.
- Instructional Design: Experience in creating effective educational content and documentation.
