Role Overview

The Senior Solutions Architect on the GoFundMe Pro team works in a post-sales Technical Solutions Team adjacent to Professional Services. This hands-on role involves scoping, designing, and validating scalable solutions for nonprofit customers using GoFundMe Pro's software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Technical Advisory: Accelerate the sales cycle by addressing technical blockers, advising on feasibility assessments, collaborating on proof of concepts and prototypes, and providing clear recommendations with trade-offs and scalability considerations.
  • Solution Design & Technical Execution: Own technical design and execution, translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, document reusable solution patterns, and guide Salesforce integration plans.
  • Customer Engagement & Implementation Oversight: Serve as the primary technical resource during implementation, acting as a trusted advisor, mitigating risks, and guiding teams to resolve complex challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Develop Salesforce-specific integration frameworks, document reusable assets, gather feedback, and stay informed on emerging trends.

Candidate Profile

A successful candidate will have 6+ years in consulting or professional services and 4+ years of experience with Salesforce implementation, configuration, and integration. Strong technical, analytical, and client management skills are essential.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in payment processing systems
  • Familiarity with Zapier, Omatic, Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, or Blackbaud systems
  • Experience in the nonprofit / fundraising industry
