Senior Security Engineer at GoDaddy
This remote role at GoDaddy offers the opportunity to work from home with occasional visits to a GoDaddy office for team events and meetings. Note that this role is not eligible in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands and is not currently considered for candidates in California, Seattle, or NYC.
Responsibilities
You will use your technical prowess and leadership skills to solve large scale, cross-company security challenges. Key responsibilities include:
- Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure.
- Conduct in-depth security assessments and provide remediation mentorship.
- Collaborate with SRE and development teams to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Review quality issues and detect security flaws.
- Build repeatable and reusable security processes and frameworks.
- Own resolution and retesting of complex security events and risks.
Experience & Requirements
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across multiple domains such as Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network Security, Cloud Security, Mobile Security, and Web Security. Familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycle, SAST, DAST, SCA tools, penetration testing, threat modeling, secure code reviews, and scripting languages is essential.
