About GM Financial Cybersecurity
Flexible hybrid work environment with a 4-day in-office requirement. Our Cybersecurity team, reporting directly to the CEO, handles security engineering, regulatory response, third party risk, and incident response to protect GM Financial.
Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst Risk Bilingual Spanish is responsible for executing parts of the GM Financial Cybersecurity Program. This role involves advising on cybersecurity risk management, organizing information, enabling risk decisions and addressing threats, while collaborating with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate has expertise in NIST 800-53 and the NIST Cyber Security Framework in both Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Manage audit tracking and remediation of findings.
- Collaborate with business partners to address cybersecurity needs.
- Develop security requirements to protect against external and internal threats.
- Document and report discrepancies or change requests in policies.
- Initiate and promote adherence to cybersecurity policies and controls.
Key Candidate Qualifications
- Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and risk evaluation.
- Experience with third-party risk assessments and vendor security documents.
- Technical understanding of IT security processes and networking.
- Familiarity with GRC platforms and regulatory standards such as SOX and PCI-DSS.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English with a degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-5 years of experience in complex business environments.
