Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice on contracts, governance, and compliance issues.
  • Compliance Management: Develop compliance programs, conduct audits and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Litigation: Manage litigation cases and coordinate with external counsel.
  • Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate practices and maintain accurate records.
  • Risk Management: Identify legal risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Competencies and Qualifications

This role requires in-depth legal expertise in corporate and commercial law, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities. Candidates should have at least 5 years of legal practice and a minimum of 1 year as an in-house lawyer, along with membership in good standing with the Philippine Bar.
