Role Overview

You will support Globe Life's information security and data protection objectives by monitoring, analyzing, and documenting security-related activities and risks. This entry-level role focuses on identifying potential data loss and unauthorized information disclosure while ensuring alignment with security policies and standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and analyze potential data loss alerts across multiple channels.
• Identify risks related to unauthorized disclosure, misuse, or improper handling of sensitive data.
• Perform initial triage of issues and document analysis and outcomes.
• Support implementation of data loss prevention policies and rules.
• Escalate issues following defined workflows and support security investigations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address non-compliant practices and recommend controls.
• Assist in risk assessments, vulnerability identification and prepare reports.

What You Can Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.
• Entry-level certifications (Security+, Network+, etc.) preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, GRC, privacy, or IT support roles.
• Understanding of information security fundamentals, data classifications, and technical controls.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
