Tekla Detailing Engineer
This is a remote, full-time position for a Tekla Detailing Engineer. The role is open to candidates based in India and requires working India-based hours to support an overnight U.S. workflow. You will be part of a global team, working independently while contributing to a synchronized, multi-time-zone operation.

The company is a U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in pre-engineered steel buildings. As part of our global expansion, we are building a round-the-clock detailing operation. This India-based role is designed to complement the LATAM/U.S. team, ensuring continuous progress on projects outside U.S. working hours. You’ll work independently while contributing to a synchronized, multi-time-zone team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage 3D models using Tekla Structures
- Perform detailing tasks using MDS software
- Interpret project inputs and produce accurate detailing outputs
- Ensure seamless handoff between global team members
- Work remotely on company-hosted systems
- Maintain high standards of quality and precision
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience with Tekla Structures (detailing)
- Experience using MDS software
- Background in pre-engineered metal building detailing
- Strong ability to work independently
- High attention to detail
- Reliable internet and remote work capability
- Fluent English (required)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience working with U.S. clients or companies
- Familiarity with international building standards (MBMA preferred)
