Job Responsibilities
The Senior Network Security Engineer at GlobalLogic will design, deploy, and maintain robust industrial networks at client sites. Responsibilities include ensuring reliable Wi-Fi coverage, proper device placement, and mitigating physical interference factors such as vibration and ultrasonic noise.
Key duties include:
- Hands-on troubleshooting for complex connectivity issues in manufacturing environments
- Escalation point for network and hardware failures
- Deployment, configuration, and management of WireGuard VPN solutions
- Establishment and management of security policies across networking devices and endpoints
- Implementation of zero-trust concepts with network access lists and firewall rules
- Integration of corporate identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID
- Endpoint control via Windows Intune (MDM)
- Utilization of Ansible for hardware inventory and network policy management
- Development of runbooks and procedures for deployment and troubleshooting
- Implementation of monitoring solutions with API-driven telemetry
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have extensive experience in network engineering, security & VPN implementation, cloud identity and endpoint management, configuration management using tools like Ansible, and proven troubleshooting skills for physical connectivity issues. Occasional travel is required.
Nice to Have
Additional assets include experience in security audits, on-call support, familiarity with embedded devices for IoT sensor integration, and exposure to industrial protocols such as MQTT or OPC/Modbus along with manufacturing security standards.
