GlobalLogic is expanding its Healthcare and Lifescience portfolio. In this role as Engineering Program Director MedTech, you will lead next-gen solutions in surgical tools and robotics for innovative intelligent medical solutions.

Key Projects

  • Chip-to-cloud innovation program for a world-leading eye care company.
  • Greenfield development for a leading European defibrillator and CPR device vendor.

Requirements

We seek a dynamic leader with over 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in management roles. You will have proven expertise in technical project and program management, strategic planning, building and scaling technology departments, and strong knowledge in medical software, healthcare regulations, SDLC methodologies and key technical domains.

  • Experience in MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Strong ability to define strategic vision and guide teams.
  • Proven track record with regulated, mission-critical environments.
  • Pre-sales experience and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Readiness for business travel and familiarity with legal frameworks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and drive vision, strategy, and roadmap for the new MedTech engineering department.
  • Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team.
  • Oversee program delivery ensuring timely, quality execution.
  • Support business development, pre-sales, proposals, and client relationships.
  • Manage HR functions including team recruitment and career progression.
  • Drive internal improvements and mentor emerging talents.
