About the Pre-Sales & Technical Support Engineer Role
Global SNI Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a client-facing Pre-Sales & Technical Support Engineer to bolster our cybersecurity solutions portfolio. This role supports products from leading vendors such as Sophos, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and Symantec. Responsibilities include technical pre-sales support, solution positioning, post-sales coordination, and bridging communication between clients and principal vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client meetings alongside the sales team to offer technical support.
- Understand customer requirements thoroughly to propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
- Actively support cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Contribute to solution design, Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for deal registration, configurations, and escalation management.
- Support solution deployments and provide essential post-sales technical assistance.
- Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) as and when required.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or network security solutions.
- Direct exposure to at least one major vendor's products (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos, Kaspersky, Bitdefender).
- Fundamental experience in firewall, endpoint, and network security implementation.
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead client-facing technical discussions effectively.
- Vendor certifications (e.g., FCF, NSE, Sophos) are a significant advantage.
