Role Description The Quantum Expert is a full-time role based in the United States. The expert will provide strategic guidance to clients across the quantum tech ecosystem, including vendors, startups, investors, end users, and public-sector stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends and data, developing strategic frameworks and recommendations, preparing client-ready data sets, and contributing to proprietary research and insight products. The role involves leading or supporting due diligence projects, participating in round tables and briefings, and collaborating with internal experts to refine GQI’s methodologies and content. The consultant will also engage with clients to understand their objectives, deliver actionable insights, and help shape their quantum technology roadmap and investment decisions.


Qualifications

  • US citizens only
  • PhD in quantum or a related field
  • Strategic and analytical skills: Ability to synthesize complex market, technical, and business information into clear strategic recommendations; strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities.
  • Quantum technology knowledge: Familiarity with quantum computing, communications, sensing, or related quantum technologies; understanding of key players, use cases, and ecosystem dynamics.
  • Collaboration and independence: Comfortable working in a distributed, international team environment while managing projects independently and meeting deadlines.
