Role Overview - Field Sales Representative - Edinburgh/Glasgow

This position is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses in the Edinburgh/Glasgow surrounding areas. It involves pricing, customer segmentation, presentations, account sign-up and activation, and overall account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a client portfolio typically with annual net revenue value of $200,000 or more.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and prospect new clients through face-to-face meetings, telephone, and marketing activities.
  • Conduct in-person meetings to qualify leads and drive pipeline activity.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and deliver online presentations.
  • Enhance client relationships by identifying additional product/service sales opportunities.
  • Maintain client records in Salesforce CRM including call notes and scheduled interactions.
  • Keep management informed with timely reports and updates.
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge on payment technology and merchant services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales and cold calling experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship building abilities.
  • Ability to conduct face-to-face prospecting and deliver effective presentations.
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Proven track record within merchant payment industry sales.
