Role Overview - Field Sales Representative - Edinburgh/Glasgow
This position is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses in the Edinburgh/Glasgow surrounding areas. It involves pricing, customer segmentation, presentations, account sign-up and activation, and overall account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio typically with annual net revenue value of $200,000 or more.
- Identify revenue opportunities and prospect new clients through face-to-face meetings, telephone, and marketing activities.
- Conduct in-person meetings to qualify leads and drive pipeline activity.
- Respond to customer inquiries and deliver online presentations.
- Enhance client relationships by identifying additional product/service sales opportunities.
- Maintain client records in Salesforce CRM including call notes and scheduled interactions.
- Keep management informed with timely reports and updates.
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge on payment technology and merchant services.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales and cold calling experience.
- Strong communication and relationship building abilities.
- Ability to conduct face-to-face prospecting and deliver effective presentations.
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Proven track record within merchant payment industry sales.
