Job Description

About Glia

Glia is the leading AI customer service solution for banks and credit unions. Our platform unifies AI and human agents across every voice and digital conversation through our proprietary ChannelLess® Architecture. With AI for All™, organizations overcome the tradeoff between efficiency and experience by using AI to automate conversations and elevate service operations.

Valued at over $1 billion and named a Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ company for five consecutive years, Glia powers over 700 financial institutions and maintains an industry-leading 72 NPS. We're also certified as a Great Place to Work, with 98% employee satisfaction.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, CI/CD & Developer Tooling on our Developer Experience team, you will design and evolve the internal platform that enables 100+ engineers at Glia to build, test, and deploy software safely, quickly, and reliably.

You’ll own and improve our CI/CD systems, GitHub workflows, deployment pipelines, and Kubernetes standards — helping define the “golden path” for how services are built and run across the company. This role blends infrastructure engineering, automation, and systems design with strong product thinking: you’ll partner closely with engineering teams to reduce cognitive load, improve reliability, increase cost visibility, and create a seamless developer experience from first commit to production.

This is a high-impact platform role where you’ll influence architecture decisions, strengthen our cloud and deployment foundations, and help scale our engineering organization as we serve enterprise financial institutions.

The Team

Team DevExp's goal is to provide reliable, easy-to-use tools and knowledge to boost developer productivity and satisfaction and empower teams to deliver value fast without breaking things.

With Us You Get An Opportunity To

  • Heavily contribute to the architecture and migration of our CI/CD platform. As a technical partner, you will work to execute our initiative of breaking down our current monolith into a modern, testable, and modular platform that is reliable and easy for developers to use.
  • Act as a pragmatic driver and contributor. You will be a hands-on technical leader, responsible for designing and implementing solutions. Your focus will be on breaking down large visions into iterative, deliverable chunks, moving projects from "discussion" to "done".
  • Design and build the "paved path" as a product. You will design or contribute to designing the public-facing APIs our developers consume — from pipeline modules to standardized tooling — ensuring they are reliable, secure, and well-documented.
  • Drive engineering efficiency. You will partner with engineers to identify key bottlenecks and then design and deliver standardized, automated solutions that save them from reinventing the wheel.
  • Help guide our roadmap. You will use your expertise to analyze developer productivity and satisfaction, helping us prioritize and drive the most impactful improvements.

Our clients are all engineering teams within the organization and we’re looking forward to boosting the collaboration. Team DevExp plays an important role in supporting product teams in achieving our business goals. All projects within the team’s space are planned, led, and executed by engineers and the team has an opportunity to contribute to the team's roadmap creation.

Team DevExp has engineers in Estonia (both Tallinn and Tartu) and Poland and our processes are optimized for remote collaboration. We work in the Eastern European time zone (EET/EEST). For this role we hire in Estonia and Poland.

  • Infrastructure-as-Code: An enthusiast for Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
  • Coding: Experience in coding that extends beyond scripting (Elixir/Ruby/Go is a plus).

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Comfort with engaging multiple stakeholders and navigating different opinions.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to dive deep into problems, form opinions, and communicate with other teams when needed.
