Job Summary

The Business Development Manager - Global PSF at GLG is responsible for identifying and growing business relationships across the EMEA region by driving new business with consultancies and professional services firms. This is a heavily outreach-oriented role requiring a "Hunter" mentality and a strong desire to win.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior business development executives to identify potential clients.
  • Engage in high levels of outbound prospecting to drive GLG's growth.
  • Utilize content marketing and materials to develop leads.
  • Coordinate pitch meetings, design proposals, and account strategies.
  • Leverage GLG’s systems to diagnose and present consultative solutions.
  • Close deals with executive clients and articulate the value of our expert network.
  • Develop business and sales strategies for assigned territories.
  • Engage senior decision-makers as a thought partner.
  • Coordinate closely with colleagues across teams, especially client servicing teams.

  • Closed deals and revenue target achievement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a hunter or business development role.
  • Track record of excellence and success in subscription-based services and consulting sales.
  • Strong network in the Consulting/Professional Services sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated B2B relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and work with a global team.
  • Strong leadership skills and resilience to overcome challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Full business proficiency in English.
