About this opportunity

Gleeds is searching for an IT Helpdesk Assistant to join our IT service desk team in London. You will support our U.K. IT team by resolving 1st line incidents and handling support requests through various channels, ensuring excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for further investigation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Provide basic user training and guidance on IT systems and applications.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of systems and infrastructure.
